SCDP Chair Asks McCain To Have A Better Plan

Columbia, SC- South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Carol Fowler is challenging Sen. John McCain to share with voters a clear and consistent plan for ending the war in Iraq during his two-day visit to South Carolina.

“Senator McCain has yet to share with voters a real, feasible plan for ending Bush’s war in Iraq or capturing Osama Bin Laden. Instead, he has spread the same paranoid rhetoric used by the Bush Administration to incite this war,” said Fowler. “Considering the high death toll in Iraq, we need a better plan for ending this war than McCain’s theory of escalation. South Carolina voters don’t want a new president with an old plan.”
