Monday Morning
Happy Labor Day everyone!
SC Dems got fired up this morning at the breakfast with some awesome speakers. First we heard from SCDP’s Amanda Loveday, and then the Chairman Dick Harpootlian.
The keynote speaker was by Gov Brian Schweitzer. He is the Democratic Governor of the formerly red state of Montana. He was a great speaker and someone who is on the rise nationally. I think we will all be seeing a lot more of him in the coming years.
The group then heard from the ever dynamic Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter. She discussed Voter ID laws, and the need to get out and volunteer between now and the election.
